God is in the multiplication business. Whether it’s food for the journey or acts slathered in loving grace, in the Kingdom of God little is always much.
This message is, in part, applying the Gospel to a recent incident concerning our local small-town school district. The hiring of a non-binary high school guidance counselor caused a bit of a dust-up on social media, and I used the occasion to reiterate some thoughts I published last week. It’s attached below.

This week, the Brodhead School District introduced Rae Tompson as its new high school guidance counselor. Tompson prefers the pronouns they/them and signed their introduction “Mx.
